Annual egg hunt set at Donner Park

The 56th Community Free Easter Egg Hunt will be conducted 10 a.m. April 4 at Donner Park in Columbus, with age-level groupings.

Thousands of colorful candy-filled Easter eggs will be provided by the Meridian Kiwanis Club, with thousands of trinket-filled Easter eggs donated by MainSource Bank, Burt’s Pest Control, Advantage Heating and Air Conditioning, and Your Ride’s Here. Age-specific areas will be cordoned off for youngsters up to age 8.

The event is supported by the Columbus Police Department, Columbus Fire Department and the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department.

The Easter bunny will be available for photo opportunities and to hand out additional candy.

The Community Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Meridian Kiwanis Club, Columbus Parks and Recreation and WCSI Radio.
