Registration for Jennings County students entering kindergarten in the fall will start in April. Students must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1 to enroll in kindergarten.
When attending a roundup session, parents must enroll their child in the school where they presently live. An immunization record and an original birth certificate must accompany each child that is enrolling.
Students who attend a roundup will receive a bag containing things for parents and their children to do together to prepare for their first year of school.
Here is the kindergarten roundup schedule:
Hayden Elementary: 9 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Sand Creek Elementary: 9 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. April 7.
Graham Creek Elementary: 9 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. April 9.
Brush Creek Elementary: 9 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. April 10.
Scipio Elementary: 9 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. April 14.
North Vernon Elementary: 9 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. April 15 and 16.
St. Mary’s: 9 to 11 a.m. April 17.
