JoAnne Bean, 84, of Columbus, passed from this life at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mrs. Bean retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Company where she was a cost accountant.
She was a member of The Sanctuary in Columbus and attended First Apostolic Church in Toledo, Ohio.
The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Dan Mitchell officiating.
Family and friends may call from 1:30 p.m. to time of service Saturday.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park in Toledo.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary Building Fund or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, November 5, 1930, Mrs. Bean was the daughter of John and Nina Tresize Loeffler.
She married Robert C. Bean August 25, 1951. He preceded her in death July 1, 1987.
Survivors include her son, John (Elizabeth) Bean of Columbus; grandchildren, Rebecca (Brian) Bowen of Louisville, David Bean, Sara Bean, and Paul Bean, all of Columbus; and a sister, Dolly (Bill) McElhaney of Cookeville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
