An accident involving a car and motorcycle on Columbus’ northeast side resulted in the motorcyclist suffering a lower leg injury.
Jeffrey F. Littrell, 53, of Westport was eastbound on 25th Street in his 2004 Pontiac Sunfire at 7:47 a.m. Monday when he attempted to turn north onto Talley Road, said Sgt. Matt Harris, spokesman for Columbus Police Department.
Littrell told police that because of the glare of the sun he did not see a 1983 Suzuki motorcycle driven by Shane D. Boerema, 21, 2701 N. Booher Court in Columbus, which was heading west on 25th Street, Harris said.
Boerema told police that he had no time to react and struck the car, Harris said.
