The Crossing, a local Christian church that often emphasizes the Jewish and Hebraic roots of Christianity, has launched a new gathering as part of its fellowship. Shabbat at The Crossing recently began at the church on the second floor of the Roviar Building at 12th and Washington streets.
The Friday gatherings are open to anyone and have “a focus on the Hebraic understanding of the word of God,” according to Hywel Thomas of The Crossing.
John and Charlotta Ferril lead the gatherings.
