Zonta Clubs of Indiana, which include clubs in Columbus, Fort Wayne, Frankfort, Indianapolis and Lebanon, will meet at Monument Circle in Indianapolis Oct. 3 to support the club’s efforts to stop violence against women.
The Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women campaign will have the walk at 10 a.m. Prior to that, at 9 a.m., Linda Majors, director of domestic violence initiatives from the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, will speak to the clubs.
The walk will go to the Indiana Statehouse where attorney and former Bartholomew County Deputy Prosecutor Kelly Benjamin will speak. The group will then return to the Circle for more events.
Zonta Clubs are made up of executives and professionals from all over the world, with a mission to empower women through service and advocacy.
