Teresa A. Thompson, 84, of Sycamore Court, died at 8:27 a.m., Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Teresa was born January 18, 1931, in North Vernon, the daughter of Michael J. and Margaret A. Clark Dugan.
Teresa worked as receptionist for 35 years in Dr. Dugan’s office at Doctors Park Medicine. She loved music, her many friends and Teresa dearly loved her nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2015, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Andy Syberg officiating. Calling will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in North Vernon.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church through the funeral home.
Survivors include her brother, Dr. Thomas P. (Barbara) Dugan of Columbus and his children, Michael Dugan, Anne Collins, Mary Harvey, Gregory Dugan, Paul Dugan, Dr. Margaret Workman and Joseph Dugan; sister, Mary Jo LaBash of Noblesville; and her brother Michael’s children, Tim and Cathy Dugan. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dr. Michael J. Dugan; and a nephew, John Dugan.
