State Police accepting prescription drugs Saturday

VERSAILLES — The federal Drug Enforcement Administration is sponsoring the 10th annual nationwide Prescription Drug Take Back at all Indiana State Police posts, except the Toll Road.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m Saturday at the state police posts, to take back expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for proper disposal without threat to the environment, Indiana State Police said.

The program is for all liquid and pill medications. Needles, either new or used, will not be accepted, police said. The drug take back is free and anonymous and no questions will be asked.
