DNR changing to online CheckIN system

Hunters can check their game online this fall through the CheckIN Game system, at an on-site check station or by phone.

The online CheckIN Game system is located at checkINgame.dnr.IN.gov and can be used with an Internet connected device. The website has instructions on how to use the system and users may locate their customer identification and print temporary transportation tages.

The phone option is at 800-419-1326 and carries a $3 fee, which may be paid by Visa or Mastercard only.

Even at the on-site check stations, station managers will be entering information online through the website, Indiana Department of Natural Resources officials said. Stations will no longer be using paper log books or issuing metal tags.
