A headless horseman. Spooky bridges. A creepy graveyard. Plus zombies, ghosts and ghouls lurking in the dark.
These and other Halloween haunts await at The Haunting at Shireman Homestead, 7060 W. County Road 200N in Columbus. The entertainment along the 40-minute trail begins at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31.
Cost is $12 (but $5 between 5 and 6 p.m. during what organizers call the “non-scary” time for younger visitors).
Proceeds go the homestead’s nonprofit work of rescuing a variety of animals and finding them homes
