Thomas “Eddie” Clark, 89, of Columbus, died at 8:25 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Clark retired from Engelking Patten after 35 years of service and later from Chrysler after 15 years of service.

He attended Garden City Church of Christ.

A 32nd Degree Mason, he was a member of St. John’s Masonic Lodge No. 20, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite and Murat Temple.

He was past president of Bartholomew County Shrine Club and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.

Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to time of service Thursday.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Mount Liberty, Indiana, July 31, 1926, Mr. Clark was the son of Harry T. and Straussie Clark.

He married Mary E. Cockerham, April 7, 1956. She preceded him in death, June 13, 2006.

Survivors include his children, Roger L. Clark of Columbus and Becky McCarty of Vandalia, Ohio; grandchildren, Ryan (Amber) Clark, Chris (Melissa) Clark, Nathan Brown and Michelle (Carlton) Sanders; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother, Billy Clark.
