Wabash lacrosse coach to give presentation

Wabash College lacrosse coach Terry Corcoran will present information on his program and discuss the recruiting process for college lacrosse at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at CSA New Tech.

The session is open to all high school players and their parents. Juniors and seniors are specifically encouraged to attend.

Columbus East lacrosse to conduct registration

Columbus East High School boys lacrosse will have its registration night at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Room C104 of the school.

All players and a parent must attend the meeting unless prior arrangements are made with coach Blake Manuel. Students can log into teamsnap and print and complete the registration forms prior to the meeting.

Tennis exhibition, clinics planned at Tipton Lakes

Tipton Lakes Athletic Club will host Turn’t-Up Pro Tennis on Saturday. The event will feature an exhibition from 3 to 4:30 p.m. between professional tennis players Yana Koroleva of Russia and Arthur Surreaux of France, which is free and open to the public.

Koroleva and Surreaux will put on an adult clinic from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and junior clinics from 5 to 6 p.m. for ages 5 to 10 and from 6 to 7 p.m. for ages 11 to 18.

Cost for the clinic is $25, and spots are limited to 24 per session. Players can register at the Tipton Lakes front desk or online at tlaclub.com.

Baseball clinics coming to Franklin College

Franklin College baseball coach Lance Marshall will host baseball clinics for players ages 7 to 18 on Dec. 29 and 30 in the school’s fitness center.

The hitting camp will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 29 and 30, and the pitcher/catcher camp will be from noon to 2 p.m. Cost for one camp is $55 by Dec. 18 or $65 after Dec. 18, and the cost for both camps is $100 by Dec. 18 or $110 after Dec. 18.
