From Monday through Jan. 15, the city Department of Public Works will collect discarded live Christmas trees at curbside of residential customers.
Christmas tree collection is the same day as regular trash pickup.
Some rules to remember:
- Trees must not be in bags.
- Trees must be free of all decorations, nails, garland, tinsel, stands and hooks.
- Trees will not be collected from alleys or private streets.
- Call-ins for Christmas tree pickup are not available.
The Department of Public Works is open 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
