• the gentleman in the 1700 block of Lawton Ave. for calling me the day after Christmas about a package that was delivered to him Christmas Day for me. I live in the 1700 block of Newton St. Thank you so much.

• Angel Tree in Hope and Love Chapel for existing and helping me this year by putting my two boys’ names on the Angel Tree in Hope and providing them each with awesome gifts and Love Chapel for sending me a trunk full of groceries and a giant turkey to boot, from a grateful appreciative parent.

• retail workers at the outlet. Great job making it through another holiday season at our local outlet mall and for going above and beyond for our awesome customers, from a fellow employee.

• Mayor Kristen Brown for actually doing all she promised for the common people.
