The high school girls basketball postseason is nearly upon us, with sectional action beginning Tuesday. But first, each county team has one final regular-season game on its schedule. A quick glance at tonight’s action:
Class 4A No. 5 Roncalli (20-3) at Class 4A No. 1 Columbus North (21-1), 7:30 p.m.
This is the Bull Dogs’ fourth game this season against a team ranked in the top seven of the IBCA coaches’ poll.
Columbus East (13-9) at Martinsville (14-7), 7:30 p.m.
The Olympians have won six of their past seven games; the Artesians lost 50-46 at Columbus North on Nov. 13.
Shelbyville (12-9) at Hauser (12-8), 7:30 p.m.
This will be the Jets’ first game this season against a Class 4A team; they are 5-3 against teams in Class 2A and above.
