Timothy L. Moore, 57, of Columbus, passed from this life at 10:07 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care of Columbus.
Tim was born Oct. 9, 1958, in Columbus, to Bernard L. and Joan Huntsman Moore.
Tim was a member of the Indiana Army National Guard and served active duty with the U.S. Army. He received an Associate Degree in Heating and Refrigeration from Ivy Tech.
Tim was a machine operator at Hoosier Tool and Die and was a member of Calvary Nazarene Church on Rocky Ford Road.
Survivors include his mother, Joan Moore of Columbus; sisters, Betsy (Tim) Wilkerson of Indianapolis and Peggy (Scott) Durnal of Columbus; a brother-in-law, Larry (Joan) Allman of Columbus; nieces, Bethany (Jeffrey) Everroad, Heather and Annie Durnal and Chloe Wilkerson; nephews, Seth and Caleb Wilkerson and Rob (Marie) Allman; great-nephews, Aiden Gomez and Robbie and Blake Allman; and great-nieces, Abbie, Sofie and Gretchen Allman.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Bernard L. Moore; a sister, Brenda Allman; paternal grandparents, Virgil and Sylvia Moore; maternal grandparents, Roy and Marguerite Huntsman; and a great-nephew, Isaiah Allman.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Shane Rocker officiating. Full military rites will be presented by the Indiana Army National Guard Ceremonial Unit and the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Private inurnment will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
