• Mr. and Mrs. John Smith at Asbury United Methodist Church for coordinating the meal site Tuesday night, from a loyal meal site participant.

• the lady at Walmart who returned my purse after I forgot and left it in the cart.

• Family Chiropractic and Wellness for making us the benefactor of their annual yearlong fundraising campaign for nonprofits, from Bartholomew Consolidated School Foundation.

• Annie at Columbus Regional Health Patient Financial Services for going above and beyond in helping me on several occasions with my hospital bills, as I never have received such excellent service and you are truly an amazing asset, from a satisfied customer.

• to Thomas Heller for his letter to the editor, as I couldn’t agree with you more.

• people worried about the person who lost a political campaign when they really need to be concerned about taxpayers.

• fear-mongers who constantly preach fear and distrust of law-abiding gun owners.

• the driver that hit the beautiful dog on State Road 7 on Thursday night and didn’t stop, because while you may have damage to your car the dog lost its life.

• the legislature that couldn’t protect from logging just 10 percent of our state forests.

• the house that has developed trash and has farm animals running loose in the yard, as it is an eyesore for the community.

• some librarians for their rudeness to the general public.

• the people whose job is to listen to you and then they don’t.

• elected city officials for the unanimous vote to refinance parking garage when it would have been a better financial move to pay off this debt.
