Local man arrested on warrants for dealing meth

A local man was arrested on two felony warrants for dealing in methamphetamine after police received a tip he was in a house on Columbus’ east side.

Fredrick E. Burton, 27, 91 Reo St., was arrested by Columbus Police Officer Troy Love after receiving the tip, said Lt. Matt Harris, the department’s spokesman.

Love found Burton at a house on Reo Street at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Harris said.

Burton is being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond, jail officials said.
