Columbus-based Toyota Industrial Equipment recently launched the Toyota Electronic Diagnostic (T.E.D.) expert system for dealer technicians, designed to help simplify and speed up the diagnosis and repair of Toyota forklifts for the nearly 3,000 dealer technicians in the U.S. and Canada.
The customized Exsys system makes one-step expert technical advice and diagnosis of complex problems available to technicians and also can be used to train new TIE technicians, allowing students to view results from various scenarios for a comprehensive learning experience.
