Kathryn Monroe, 85, of North Vernon, died at 10 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at her residence.
Survivors include sons, Dennis (Cherie) Monroe of Burgoon, Ohio, and Ken (Janet) Wilbur of Oregon, Ohio; two daughters, Patricia Monroe of Toledo, Ohio, and Sheree Corum of North Vernon; thirty grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Monroe; son, Greg Monroe; brothers, Harold and Lawrence Cox; and sisters, Stella and Eleanor Rhodes.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services were entrusted with the care of the arrangements.
