Darren W. Heitz, 49, of North Vernon, died at 12:10 p.m. March 11, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Darren Heitz Memorial Fund through the funeral home or donor’s choice of charity.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra (Bennett) Heitz; his parents, Larry W. and Barbara (Rowlett) Heitz of Elizabethtown; sons, Franklin Heitz and Eligh Gabbard Heitz both of North Vernon; and a daughter, Darcey Paige Heitz of North Vernon.
