Two local basketball seniors have been selected to play in the 28th Annual North-South Indiana All-Star Classic on April 24 at Vincennes University.
Columbus North’s Paige Littrell will play in the girls game at 2 p.m. Columbus East’s Parker Chitty will play in the boys game at 4 p.m.
Littrell averaged 8.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.8 steals this season in helping lead the Bull Dogs to a 27-2 record and a Class 4A state runner-up finish. She has been named Senior All-State by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association, second-team All-State by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association and All-Conference Indiana.
Chitty led the Olympians with 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 2.4 steals. The Eastern Kentucky recruit has been named to the “Supreme 15” team by the IBCA and is The Republic Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
