Glenn E. Childress, 65, of Waynesburg, died at 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Tammy L. Quillen; daughters, Samantha Young of Batesville and Tanika Childress of Greensburg; sons, Nick Childress of Mason, Ohio and Joe Phillips of New Albany; sisters, Donna Murff of New York, Leah LaFauci of Columbus and Bobbi Jo Hammond of Osgood; brother, Ivan Childress of Hawaii; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, LaDon Dwenger.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor John Fields officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the family to assist with funeral arrangements.
