Letter: Andrews dedicated to being outstanding judge

From: Ryan Smith

It is with pride that I am writing to the editor of The Republic. Columbus is where I was born and raised, and my heart is still with the community. My goal with this letter is to portray the proper image of one of your candidates running for Bartholomew Circuit Court judge.

Scott Andrews has been like a family member to me since birth; our parents have been great friends since before we were born. Growing up, Gary and Markel Andrews were like my second parents; we pretty much did everything together. We became the “Three Amigos” when we swore in our great friend, Josh Littrell. Scott’s parents instilled values and morals that Scott, Josh and I follow to this day.

Scott was born and raised in Bartholomew County and has been involved in a wide variety of charitable organizations. His lifelong involvement in Bartholomew County gives him valuable insight; he would be a great decision.

His dedication to his family, devotion to the Lord and desire to serve his community make Scott an outstanding candidate for circuit court judge. His accomplishments and experience are second to none. As a deputy prosecutor and defense attorney, he has seen every type of case over the last 15 years. Scott’s number one priority is being involved with the local law enforcement agencies to tackle the crimes that are spiking in the community.

I urge the voters of Bartholomew County to go to the polls on May 3 and elect a hometown candidate, Scott Andrews.
