Larry Lee Stott Sr., 69, of Columbus, passed from this life at 10:16 a.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Mr. Stott retired from Foundation for Youth where he was a maintenance supervisor. Larry loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. His hobbies included collecting knives and mushroom hunting in his secret locations every year.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, 1029 Washington Street, with Pastor Brian Rogers officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born February 25, 1947, in Columbus, Indiana, Larry was the son of the late William Marvin Stott and Sarah Pauline Apple Stott, who survives.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Joyce Ozbun Stott; children, Tammy (Randy) Herrin of Columbus and Larry (Debbie) Stott Jr. of Columbus; grandchildren, Dalton (Katie) Herrin, Sarah (Caleb) White, Brandon, Kaylee and Caroline Stott; and great-grandchildren, Skylar, Zoe and Martie. Also surviving are one brother-in-law, David Ozbun of Columbus; one sister-in-law, Frances Kay (George) Johnson of Edinburgh, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Billy M. Stott, and one brother-in-law, Glenn Conover.
