Columbus native and singer Kate Hamilton, who began performing in significant roles in local Mill Race Players’ productions when she was in junior high, will return to the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic’s free SALUTE! concert at 7 p.m. May 27 at the Bartholomew County Memorial for Veterans at Second and Jackson streets in Columbus. She last sang at SALUTE in 2007 and has performed with the orchestra numerous other times as a crowd favorite. Information: thecip.org.
