• Miller’s Merry Manor staff for providing excellent care. We appreciate all your hard work, care and compassion, from the R. Green family.

• American Legion No. 24 for conducting the fish fry Friday to support Turning Point Domestic Violence Services. What a great community partnership.

• Ryan Lauer for giving us an opportunity for fresh, new leadership in the statehouse not beholden to special interests.

• Ryan Lauer for running for state office on a platform of true conservative values such as fiscal responsibility and higher standards of education.

• the helpful young man with two cute little girls who unloaded heavy items from my Walmart cart into my SUV for me last Thursday.

• Trish Ward for her won-derful service at the Republic, who will be greatly missed.

• White Castle for the donation of the Crave boxes to our classrooms. We are making them into our suitcase of success, from Smith Elementary first graders.

• “Big Bird” for doing an excellent power washing of the children’s patio area at the library.

• Ryan Lauer for being such an outstanding candidate for state representative.

• Crystal at the dentist’s office for the wonderful note to my son, from his proud mother.
