A North Vernon woman is facing drug-dealing and drug-possession charges after heroin was found in her vehicle.

Jennings County Sheriff’s Department had been dispatched to the area of State Road 50 East in regard to a possible impaired driver at 11 p.m. April 18. Lisa G. Bedel, 44, driving a 1999 Ford Taurus, was pulled over as she entered into North Vernon on East Buckeye Street when a police officer observed her traveling left of center, according to a press release from the sheriff’s department.
