Janice M. Grassi, 77, of Columbus, died peacefully at 9 a.m. April 22, 2016, at her residence.
Janice was born January 17, 1939, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Chalmer W. and Grace (Gordan) Bales.
She had been director of Faith Victory Church’s Clothes Closet Ministry since its beginning 13 years ago. Janice will be greatly missed by her family, church family and members of the community she served in her ministry, which will continue.
A celebration of life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Faith Victory Church with Pastor Mark Owings officiating. A gathering of friends be from 5:30 p.m. until service time.
Memorials may be made to the Clothes Closet Ministry at Faith Victory Church.
Survivors include a son, David (Karen) James of Terre Haute; daughters, Melinda (Terry) Mosier of Columbus and Brenda (Jay) Bell of Seattle, Washington; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Grassi.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
