The following closings are in effect Tuesday for the primary election:
- The Columbus City Utilities will be closed. Regular business hours resume Wednesday at 8 a.m. If you have a problem with your water or sewer service call our business office at 372-8861 and follow the prompts.
- City trash, compost, brush and recycling collection will run on normal schedule Tuesday, but the office will be closed.
- The Solid Waste Management District Office, 720 S. Mapleton St., is closed Tuesday. The Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center, 720 S. Mapleton St., is open Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Bartholomew County Landfill, 811 E. County Road 450S, will be open Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Columbus City Hall is closed Tuesday.
- The Bartholomew County Courthouse is closed Tuesday.
