Ella Mann, 81, of Edinburgh, died Monday, May 2, 2016, at Community North Heart and Vascular Hospital.
Before retirement, she was employed for over 50 years as a factory worker at IAC, previously Lear Corp. She loved doing laundry, taking care of her flowers and spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Born September 18, 1934, Ella was the daughter of Coakley Followell and Mattie Garrett Followell Lane. She married Melvin Mann April 30, 1955, and he preceded her in
death January 5, 2014.
There will be private family visitation and funeral at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Pam Thomas (John Lynch) of Edinburgh; a grandson, Brad (Megan) Martin of Flat Rock; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Hanna and Kaley Martin of Flat Rock; and siblings, Ivy Stanley of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, and Sue Taylor of Lebanon, Kentucky.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brothers, Robert and Gene Followell.
