Cummins names vice president for advanced analytics

Jason MacLean has been named vice president – Advanced Analytics for Cummins Inc.

In his new role, Maclean will report to Lisa Yoder, vice president, Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing for Cummins. He was most recently managing the supply chain in Cummins’ power generation business where his teams developed improved analytic models to manage global materials, plant lead times, shipments and order boards.

Before that, MacLean was the functional leader of Cummins corporate supply chain, where his team worked with manufacturing and purchasing organizations on rapid cost, inventory and lead time reduction with a focus on enterprise-wide data sharing. Earlier in his career, he worked at Bain & Co. on advanced analytical models for technology and manufacturing companies in California and Europe.

He earned a bachelor of arts in English and Russian from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration in finance and a Master of International Studies from the Lauder Institute of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

MacLean lives in Indianapolis with his wife Lauren, a political science professor at Indiana University, and their three children.
