• Superintendent John Quick and the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. Board, for your courage in making the “protected classes” policy change to include gender identity and for explaining the process regarding bathroom use by transgendered students.

• Nick at Dog World for being willing to take our dog Betty, during a busy holiday weekend when a family emergency came up.

• the letter writer for degrading our president when he has many accomplishments, regardless of those who refuse to see anything but the color of his skin.

• school officials who “slapped” 98 percent of the students in the face by adopting a politically correct change to policies.

• irresponsible parents who allow their children to play in the street.

• the city for not having a pedestrian light at Taylor Road and 25th Street.

• all the people who wrote in negative comments about the young lady who chose not to sing in the concert.

• the singer who canceled a commitment to a concert for veterans who fought for rights, freedoms and civil liberties.

• the singer who plans to boycott SALUTE!, because it’s not about you, its about the veterans.

• the local arts organization for inviting a career politician to be part of its programming during an election year.

• the city for proposing to spend millions on an unneeded river walk while leaving residents east of Taylor Road with crumbling roads, no parks or people trails.

• people who don’t cover their mouth when they cough or sneeze.

• those who organize free concerts on the courthouse lawn, because there should be a charge for all concerts on the courthouse lawn.

• school officials who do not realize that they were elected to represent the public.

• the nosy neighbor that talks to other neighbors about their issues with neighbors.

• those for letting men or boys use women’s bathrooms.

• the letter writer who can’t even show respect but isn’t even a registered voter.

• people who cannot figure out what sex they are, as God made it very simple — you simply look in your underpants.

• the property owners with horses whose ribs can be seen and the property is constantly muddy.
