Linda Pierson, a 2016 graduate of Columbus North High School, was awarded the $2,500 P.E.O STAR Scholarship by Chapter DN of Columbus.
The scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior woman who has demonstrated excellence in community service, academics, leadership, extracurricular activities and shows promise of success in the future. The student must be recommended by a P.E.O. chapter.
Pierson will attend Ball State University this fall to study telecommunications.
