Ed and Mary Branstetter of Taylorsville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house given by their children Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Mr. Branstetter and the former Mary Chastain were married June 11, 1966, at Liberty Christian Church in Orange County by the Rev. Dearl Cooper.
Mr. Branstetter is retired from Cummins Inc. and Mrs. Branstetter is a homemaker.
The couple have two children, Alice (Jerry) Rawlinson of Elizabethtown and Vickie (Bobby) House of Columbus, and two grandchildren.
