Thomas L. Sprague, 68, of Freetown, Indiana, passed away at 12:15 a.m. June 10, 2016, at the Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Mr. Sprague had retired from Reliance Electric, Reeves Plant and Baldor. He was a Vietnam Army veteran who served from 1965-1967. He was a member of the American Legion and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Born in Seymour, Indiana, on Oct. 5, 1947, he was the son of Carl Sprague and Helen (Taylor) Sutton. He is survived by his wife, Ann “Susie” Stewart Sprague.

Also surviving are his two children, Debbie (Bobby Mann) Ridlen and Carl (Rhoda) Sprague; a step-daughter, Lyndsay ( Darrell) Kendrick; a sister, Patricia Klakamp; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Cordes, and two wives, Shirley (Duke) Sprague andn Erma (Lentz) Sprague.

Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown. The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. followed with burial at the Freetown Cemetery with military graveside rites.

The family suggests memorial donations be sent to either Schneck Foundation or to St. Jude’s Hospital.
