Jennifer A. “Jenni” Wetherald, 49, of East State Street, died at 3:09 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Jenni was born Aug. 15, 1966, in Columbus. She was the daughter of Reta Wetherald and Thomas R. Wetherald.
Although Jenni struggled with multiple sclerosis for many years, she tried to make the best of her life even with all her limitations. She loved her family and her pets.
Jenni is survived by her mother and father; her step-mother, Gina; brothers, Tom (Karen) and Mark (Jenni) of Columbus; sister, Faith (Jesse) Herrera of Arizona; nieces, Tasha Rieckers, Tessa Wetherald, Parker Wetherald and Brittany Kass; a nephew, Hunter Wetherald; six great-nieces and -nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Scott Wetherald.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Stephen Barrett officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
