Paul O. Potter died Monday, June 20, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
He was born Dec. 25, 1931, in Perry, Iowa, to Charles and Elizabeth (Councilman) Potter. He married Barbara Jean Veshlage in 1982.
Mr. Potter was a Cummins Inc. retiree.
He is survived by his children, Steve and Cathy Potter, Kathy and Scott Alexander, Sue and Don Baker, all of Columbus, and Chuck and Kathy Potter of Iowa; grandchildren, Matt and Bird Potter, Luke Potter, Sam and Sommer Hildrebrand, Laura and Will Gallion and Paul Baker of Columbus, Ben Potter and Becky and Colton Johnson of Iowa; several great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Potter, and sister Mary Jo Williams of Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Barbara.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
