Nettie Louise DePierre, age 49, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday June 22, 2016, at the Indiana University Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born August 20, 1966, in Bloomington, to Donald Keith Meadows and Barbara Louise Collins Meadows.
Nettie was a 1984 graduate of Bloomington High School South and thoroughly enjoyed time with her family, being near the ocean and playing bingo.
She leaves behind her husband, David A. DePierre of Bloomington; daughter, Kayla Ann Rash and husband Steven of Bloomfield; daughter, Samantha Renee DePierre; son, Matthew David DePierre; brother, Donald L. Meadows; and father, Donald K. Meadows, all of Bloomington. Nettie is also survived by several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her mother and an infant son, Ryan Tanner DePierre.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 27, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 South Old Sate Road 37. Reverend Eric Edwards will officiate and burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 until 6 p.m.. also at Allen Funeral Home.
