Robert Gibson, 78, of Taylorsville, died June 23, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
He is survived by two daughters, LaVerne Whiteside of Coal City and Debora Lynn Gibson of Columbus; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Marshall Gibson, and two sons, John Gibson and Robert Lee Gibson.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh by the Rev. Guy Hardin. Calling will be Tuesday from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
