Smith and Henrietta Snively of Quincy Drive celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by taking Mississippi River cruise exploring Civil War sites from Memphis, Tennessee, to New Orleans.
Mr. Snively and the former Henrietta Moeller were married June 30, 1956, at St. John Lutheran Church at Forest Park, Illinois, by the Rev. Edmund Weber.
Mr. Snively is a retired BCSC principal and Mrs. Snively retired from Bartholomew Special Education Cooperative.
The couple have two children, Ellen Marie Snively Newkirk and Paul Frederick Snively. They also have two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
