Perry and RoseMary Crippen of Deaver Road will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their family from 2 to 6 p.m. July 9 at Bartholomew County Shrine Club.
Mr. Crippen and the former RoseMary Denny were married July 1, 1946, at First Methodist Church in Glasgow, Kentucky, by the Rev. J.W. Rayburn.
Mr. Crippen retired from Reeves Pulley/Reliance Electric and Mrs. Crippen retired from CP Electronics and Hill’s Department Store.
The couple have three children, Carolyn (Dave) Lohr, Diane (Ivan) Arnett and Mike Crippen, and 10 grandchildren.
