Columbus native makes Georgia State dean’s list

Maggie Vrana of Columbus earned a spot on Georgia State University’s dean’s list for the spring.

To be eligible for the list, degree-seeking students must earn a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

RIT graduate receives masters degree

Pranav Nikam, Columbus, received a Master of Science degree in packaging science from the Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Applied Science and Technology during the New York-based school’s 131st Academic Convocation in May.

Diplomas were distributed to graduates following the event at separate ceremonies held by each of RIT’s nine colleges and two academic centers.

Karen Wildemann of Columbus made Wittenberg University’s dean’s list for the spring semester.

Students must earn a 3.5 grade-point average or better eligible to be eligible for the list.

Resident earns spot on Grand Valley dean’s list

David J. Powell of Columbus earned a spot on Grand Valley State University’s dean’s list for the spring semester.

To be eligible, students had to have at least a 3.5 grade-point average and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits.
