Larry and Anna Bogard of Columbus planned to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Tennessee and a family get-together at Lake Monroe.
Mr. Bogard and the former Anna Summers were married July 29, 1966, at Veale Creek Baptist Church in Washington, by the Rev. Don Andrews.
Mr. Bogard retired from Cummins Inc.
Mrs. Bogard retired after 37 years in banking and is currently employed at Community Church of Columbus.
The couple have three children, Trent Bogard, Tracy Walden and Teri Bogard; and four grandchildren.
