• the kind person who turned in the wallet I accidentally left on the table at Applebee’s last week.

• the very young men and entrepreneurs selling bottled, ice-cold water on Washington Street.

• the nice woman in the silver car who paid for my drive-thru breakfast order Sunday morning.

• Tim Jarnigan at Kroger for consistently and enthusiastically going the extra mile, from Eric and Sara Cave.

• Marvin Truex for his kindness, from a disabled person.

• Whipker’s, Hackman’s and Bush’s markets for an awesome harvest, from a consumer.

• First United Methodist Church for an excellent picnic on Sunday.

• Elizabeth Kestler for talking about Love Chapel and letting us know how we can help people in our area.

• Sally for her explanation of how our brain works and how her belief in faith and prayer helped her to recover.

• the Gilland family and all of the music they have shared with the Moravian Church for many years.

• Ed Settle for filling in for our minister for the worship service Sunday morning.

• Wanda Hunter for the delicious bread, from Ray and Sharon.

• people who take new flowers and name plates off of the graves at Daugherty Cemetery.

• the woman who entered the movie theater and disrupted the documentary by shouting political opinions to a paying audience who wanted to be there to hear the truth.

• the fire station that allows its grounds to be overgrown by weeds up to six feet tall.

• doctors who have become so calloused that they do not answer questions asked by the family.

• drivers who do not know the speed limit or consider the heavy traffic flow on National Road and cut in between lanes of traffic.

• the fans at softball games who complain and don’t know the rules.

• the chain-smoking trio in the drive-thru bank line who wanted a bank statement of the past six months.

• people who complain about Benghazi without looking up what really happened.

• doctors offices that won’t let you choose which doctor you see.

• the people who do not mow their grass and make an eyesore in a very nice neighborhood.

• the city for not having a speed limit sign on Midway between 17th and 22nd streets.

• the medical office that doesn’t provide service quickly.

• The Republic carrier for not following instructions or requests.

• whoever set the traffic lights in and around the city of Columbus.

• the man in the park walking his dog on a cordless remote leash, allowing his dog to approach mine and cause problems.
