James Anthony “Tony” Ginn Tillett, 35, of Glendale, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016, at his residence.
He was in the Army Reserves and trained as a combat medic. He was an EMS in Indiana and was employed at UPS.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Katherine Tillett.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Nadine and John McKeating of Glendale; father and stepmother, Johnny and Tammy Tillett of Rineyville, Kentucky; one daughter, Baily Marie Tillett of Columbus, Indiana; three stepbrothers, Jonathon Shartzer of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Justin Shartzer of Radcliff, Kentucky, and Chris Shartzer of Alabama; one sister, Jacinta “Jaye” Tillett of Glendale; grandmother and stepgrandfather, Agnes and Jim Decker of Glendale; and grandfather, Cecil Tillett of Bardstown, Kentucky.
The funeral will be at noon Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at St. James Catholic Church.
Burial following at St. Catherine Cemetery in New Haven, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
