Robert G. Enochs, 86, of South Jonesville Road, passed away at 10:43 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Robert was born April 14, 1930, in Columbus, the son of Winfred “Bud” and Mary Hill Enochs. He married Betty Sullinger August 27, 1949.
Robert retired from Cummins Engine Company and enjoyed golfing, yard work and NASCAR. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Chris Clancy officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; daughters, Diane (Mike) Clancy, Lyndle Arledge, Susan (Daryl) Wetherald, all of Columbus, and Pat Enochs of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Jerry B. Enochs and Donald C. Enochs; brothers, Jerry Enochs and Jack Enochs; and brothers-in-law, Jerry Sullinger and Jim Sullinger.
