Barbara K. England, 70, of Columbus, passed from this life at 6:10 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.

Barb retired from Cummins Midrange Engine Plant in 2013, after working 29 years, and was a member of Diesel Workers Union.

She also was a member of Driftwood Christian Church in Vallonia, Indiana.

Barb enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, traveling and fishing.

The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Michael Hogg and Lonny Goen officiating.

Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Heart Center or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Mrs. England was born March 30, 1946, in Columbus. She was the daughter of William A. and Roselene M. Townsend Robinson.

She married James R. England June 23, 1967, in Columbus.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years; a daughter, Wendy (John) Cash of Brownstown; a son, Toby (Kelley) England of Columbus; sisters, Patricia Baldwin of Naples, Florida, and Sarah Temple of Evansville; grandchildren, Joshua Cash of Brownstown, Brett, Dylan and Megan England, all of Columbus; a great-grandson, Jentry Cash of Brownstown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Shelia Robinson and Gladys Robinson.
