• Cyrus Robertson for the thought-provoking letter on cruelty to animals and the solution of plant-based eating.

• the Rev. Roger Lee for helping a disabled person.

• the entire Hope Vet Clinic staff, especially Dr. Newton, Dr. Davidson, Sand and both Janes, for the constant care and love you gave our lab, Bill, over the past 13-plus years, from from Joe and Ann.

• the lady in front of me for paying for my order at Starbucks this morning as it made my Monday morning and was greatly appreciated, and I paid it forward to the car behind me.

• Jordy McTaggart’s for a great dinner and great service Sunday.

• the young adult at East Columbus Christian Church who presented an awesome report on their recent trip to Mexico.

• Jarod at Kroger for helping me to the car in the pouring rain and for staying cheerful even though you were soaking wet.

• Margaret Powers for the great job she did organizing the Philharmonic trip to Chicago.

• Barb Forman for pushing me in my wheelchair in Chicago.

Onions to …

• those that argue the cost of everything and want everything for free.

• people who don’t understand genuine diversity and genuine tolerance cannot have hatred toward Christianity and its beliefs.

• the employee who ran out and screamed he would call a tow truck immediately as a lady who’s Jeep had broken down in traffic was pushing it into the lot of his business by herself.

• anyone who uses County Line Road as their personal landfill/dumping grounds.

• the driver in the pickup truck who dangerously crossed two lanes in the roundabout, cutting in front of me, to beat the train.

• impatient drivers who turn left on the red arrows on the west side of town.

• the people who drive through the apartments after the fire as it is not a show.

• to those paying an athlete $100 million dollars.

• the person who thinks extraordinary Olympic athletes make America great while ignoring the federal government’s financial problems.

• the two women in a local store who made fun of my sister who is a four-time cancer survivor.

• the group that occupies the same seats for hours at the restaurant who are ill-mannered, very loud and use profanity and racial stereotypes.

• the store that only had one cashier when they were very busy.

• people who go in stores and try on hand lotions, spray colognes and open vitamins and steal some.

• the local business Friday that failed to keep the scheduled online appointments, ruining further air travel.

• the nurse practitioner who does not know how to deal with patients and messes up the schedule of prescriptions.
