Jamaal Allen Combs, 35, of Columbus, died at 7:06 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital ICU.
Jamaal was born in Columbus July 29, 1981, to Derrick and Deborah Washington Combs.
Survivors include his parents, Derrick and Deborah Combs of Columbus; sister, Katrina (Glenn) Adams of Columbus; brother, Damian Combs of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Brianna Greathouse of Louisville, Kentucky, Natasha Greathouse of Seymour, Mercedes Henderson of Columbus, Jordyn Adams, Jalen Luken, Jacey Adams, Jadyn Adams and Jaxon Adams, all of Terre Haute; a great-neice, Kynlee Greathouse of Seymour; an aunt, Toni (Matt) Walden of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; an uncle, William (Sherry) Washington of New Liberty, Kentucky; great-aunts, Frances Lawson of Columbus, Evelyne Sanders of Park Ridge, Kentucky, and Edna Booker of Seymour; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Aaron Greathouse, a sister, Quanda Combs, and grandparents, James and Maggie Tolliver Washington and Walter and Thelma Tarleton Combs.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Larry Rowe officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
